    It was only a matter of time before the body’s biggest organ became a prime target for wearable innovation. Hence came the Healbe GoBe, a smart band that derives a wearer’s caloric intake from their skin by measuring glucose levels in cells. Of course, GoBe doesn’t stop at tracking food intake and energy — the wrist-wear also keeps tabs on stress, heart rate, water consumption and sleep patterns. Initial shipments of GoBe will make their way to buyers in February. The band, as with other smart bands, pairs with a smartphone app to relay its data.
